Mission

A City full of art and inspiration - this was what Jon Seidman knew from his hometown New York City. Artists working together, meeting up for art sessions over several days, show in  an unconventional way like artwalks and art gardens. He was used to non-seperation of art, music, animation and events without borders. Art could be found around each corner. So after moving to Germany this was what he tried to find here in Germany as well. Having met Denise Pollack and Melanie König he found two more artists thinking the same way. Short after the three of them founded the artist collective "Station Kreation". Two years into the game they met Michael Osei from Ghana as their first international member. The goal of this collective to create a huge art movement and inspire others and bring the art out to the people. "Taking action in Art" is meant to use unconventional ways of spreading art into the world.

Eine Stadt voller Kunst und Inspiration - das kannte Jon Seidman aus seiner Heimatstadt New York. Künstler die zusammen arbeiten, sich zu Kunst Session treffen, Shows auch im unkonventionellem Rahmen (Artwalks, art garden) Shows veranstalten und sich gegenseitig zu immer neuen inspirieren. Fließende Übergänge zwischen Kunst, Musik, Animation, und Inszenierungen ohne eine Eingrenzung in eine Richtung. Kunst in jeder Ecke.  Und das war es auch was er hier in Deutschland versuchte zu finden. Mit den beiden Künstlerinnen Melanie König und Denise Pollack fand er zwei Mitstreiterinnen die genauso dachten. Kurzerhand gründeten die drei das Künstlerkollektiv "Station Kreation".  Zwei Jahre später stoß Michael Osei von Ghana als erstes Internationales Mitglied zum Kollektiv. Das Ziel des Kollektivs ist eine große Kunst-Bewegung zu starten und andere Künstler zu Inspirieren, sowie die Kunst hinaus in alle Welt zu bringen.  "Taking action in Art", also "Handlung in der Kunst zu ergreifen" meint alle und auch unkonventionelle Ansätze zu ergreifen um Kunst zu verbreiten und andere mit anzustecken.
